CityFlatsHotel - Grand Rapids, Ascend Hotel Collection

Perfect downtown location, easily walkable to Van Andel Arena and other local venues. Stylish decor (they say each room is different; I would have loved to have seen some of the other layouts), very comfortable beds and bedding, security room card swipes required in the elevator, which is a great safety feature. We got very lucky finding free street parking, but the parking garage is just around the corner if necessary. Good coffee with real creamers (not powder!), hair dryer, iron/board in the room. Big beautiful walk in shower.

I liked the location. Being able to step out the door and have all the shops and restaurants to explore was a great experience. Also being walking distance to the concert venue was nice. The parking garage with easy access to the hotel was also nice. I will definitely be back to the City Flats hotel.

Location was excellent, we had to be on the ferry early in the morning and it was very nice to be so close. The furnishings and decor were lovely, very comfortable.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. When asked they gave us great recommendations to get our coffee fix. They had just opened up the bar and they made a drink that seemed like they had been doing it for years. Everything was close by. It gave off a relaxed quality atmosphere which we definitely appreciated.

Staff was very friendly, view was beautiful, beds were SO COMFORTABLE!! Chase was very accommodating and let us check in early. Seems like every staff member went out of their way to make sure we were happy!
